I agree Marty. A person can get into this era of Vette kind of affordably! Then it can be altered without losing collector value. I have considered getting one since they would be about the only sports car I could ever afford, but then I remember that I would not be able to get back out once I fall in---LOL! C4s seem to be fairly reasonably priced too.Nice.
The late C3's don't get the love they deserve IMO, kind of like the big bumper 2nd gen Camaros.
My coworker has a 79, he only drives it on really nice days.
That's one reason I sold my 98 Firebird, it's was getting hard to roll out of.I agree Marty. A person can get into this era of Vette kind of affordably! Is that a customer car, Nick?

I agree, I love them, probably one of my favorite cars. My grandfather had a 77, I have posted pictures of it before, and my neighbor had a 79. Both yellow, but different shades.Nice.

I would love to have one. I have never actually driven one, but I have been told by a few people that they are not very nice to drive though, and not comfortable inside. I did sit in one once, and they are awkward to get in and out of being so low, and the steering wheel is very close to the seat.I agree Marty. Sorry, but I don’t know anything about it. I agree about the new ones, I’m not a fan. The c2s and c3s are my favorites. Thanks for posting this Nick, NICE car! I really love the silver color, and I too would like to hear a little bit of history on it if you have any and are willing to share. This is when Corvettes still looked like Corvettes, unlike the brand new modern ones of today that like more like a Ferrari. Everytime I see a brand new one I swear its a Ferrari, yesterday being a prime example ha ha. Its hard to believe they were sports cars back in the day but are exotics now, and that there are so many “Cs” out there. Like Doug said these C3s don’t really bring all that much, granted not like the C1s and 2s but they do still being pretty respectable numbers. Needless to say they bring more than the ones from the early 90s.
I got a little bit of history for you. This car originally came from Minnesota, the current owner had it shipped here to PA. It supposedly has 59,000 original miles, all original paint and the original interior. I’m not so sure about the original paint part though. It looks like at least some parts have been painted, I can see tape lines. That’s all I got for now. Thanks for posting this Nick, NICE car!
