Hello all, this is Lorna's son Trevor to give you a bit of info on the hot rods in the pictures:
Betty of course is our 1957 chevy 150 utility sedan, an original Canadian built car that originally came with a 6cyl manual steering/brakes and a 3 on the tree. Now has a 375hp 355cubic inch 4 bolt main with a Muncie M22 4 speed, and a 355 geared differential. Power disk brake conversion (rear drum) and still has the arm strong steering. Lots of fun to drive!
The truck is a 1969 Chev C30 Longhorn (Rare option with 8" of extra bed from the factory) small block 350 with a mild cam and a 700r4 transmission with 4.13 gears. Factory AC factory tach.
1970 Malibu with the retro red crush velvet interior (blast from the 80's) it has a 396 cubic inch small block from Blueprint crate engines running at about 450 hp to the ground and a turbo 400 with a 3000 stall converter with 3.73 posi rear end.
1970 Olds 442 is an incredible car it is a factory 442 with the 455 in it and the rare factory fiberglass hood. It isn't the stock 455 as it has been worked over extensively and is pushing 525hp to the ground and close to 600ftlbs of torque. 3000 stall converter and 3.73 posi rear end this car is a monster and really fun to ride in! The Malibu and the 442 are owned by the same lucky man !
I believe the next one is a 1969 (guessing at the year) Fairlane 500 survivor car original paint original 4 speed car. Has a 351 Windsor and the factory 4 speed.
Finally is a 1969 (guessing at the year again not really a ford man) falcon with a angry little 331 cubic inch engine and 3 speed auto with a gear vendors overdrive unit and a 3.73 geared posi in back.
Great road trip with great friends. Hope this gives you the back ground on the cars you were wondering about.
Take care
Trev
