Had another Antique Day meeting last evening. Looks like going to be a good turn out of vendors. Featured brand this year is Ford. Anything Ford will be featured but all makes, models & types are welcome. Will have a tandem axle trailer load of small. mostly one cylinder engines on display also. Will try and get at a couple running. Car show will be held this day also.

Just got home from the Antique Day at the Fair. Darn it was hot, 95° on the truck on the way home. Had about 16 tractors on the 5 hr. tractor ride. Had a good showing of Ford tractors from an old 8N up through the newest one, a 25 year old FWA. Had several old tools on display, one couple won best of demonstrations for their home made butter served on crackers and home made ice cream in a cone. Had an old wooden hand crank corn sheller that was value on the internet at $600. I had a QT16 I just got running good, an EK7 with mower and EK10 with the snow caster. Granddaughter had her RAM there again also. Had a Trailer with 8 old engines on it. IH, JD, Fair Banks Morris, couple Maytag engines etc. I got best of show, small engine & lawn equipment with the EK10. Trailer is still loaded and will stay there till morning. To darn hot to unload now.

Sounds like a great day. I had a great day at the model T show.

Will get the photo oh my EK10, me and my trophy in the morning. Photographer never showed up where we were at.

Strange things that happen on the road. Put the engine cover on the EK10 a few days ago. Had it all lined up, run the engine, drove it down to the shed. Sat fired it up and drove it on the trailer. Got to the show and it would not start. Free wheeled it off and into position. Messed with it during the show some, fired off and ran with the cover up. Soon as I put the cover down it would die. So drove it on the trailer with someone holding the hood. Went to work on it this morning and noticed a damp spot on the trailer under the right side of the engine area. Gas leaked out of the carb as the main needle had fallen out coming home. Borrowed one from an old week 8 hp and got it running again. Then went after the hood down issue. Found a lock nut had fell off cuse I didn't use a long enough bolt. Got that part fixed. Hinge brackets moved just enough to torque the hood to the right a bit and in doing so the coil wire shorted out to the hood. Loosened the head bolt, turned the coil to get the wires in toward the engine. Got that problem solved. Finally put all 4 tractors in the shed, trailer is parked and truck is in the garage. Few little things to put away and will wait till next year to see which ones will get the call. Probably a H12, G11, White 1655, and Possibly the Qt again if I get it painted.

It's amazing how problems can multiply while we are not looking. Good trouble shooting.

And Ethanol backed that jet out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't have anyone around to take a photo when I put the tractors way. Got this of the trophy and It's the best I can do for now. The photo on the top was in honor of a long time dedicated fair and race track member. I worked with him for many years at the race track.Trophy.JPG
