    And more junk.

They had a couple of slot car tracks when I first seen it, the next time they had RC car tracks pretty much filling the space.

The three rail (Lionel) is normally O scale, next size down is S (kinda rare), next is HO (half O scale), next N, then Z and ZZ(?). The last three are TINY, you can have a whole display on a kitchen table.

First track set I had as a kid was the one with the two red, white and blue corvettes. The second and last track set was the Aurora/AFX tractor trailer set with two steerable trucks. The truck one was fun, my dad and I would sideswipe and cut each other off when racing. The only downside was the...

    Workin' on the Old Tractors

I was watching a couple of videos on the tube the other day, a machine shop was re-doing two complete sets of Moline cylinders. It was pretty neat seeing all the different things they had to do to actually work on those side valve engines.

That little tractor did a lot of hauling, tough little bugger too. I made a set of tire chains for it and pulled a rock about size of a pickup truck set of duals.

It's possible they built them for Sears, as a kid my one uncle fixed up a little MTD made tractor for me with Crusader on the hood and front grill. I was told it was bought through Sears. It was 5hp, solid rear axle, just went forward and reverse, and had a single blade mower deck on it. He took...

Doug, that E tool your mom put the handle on is the one that goes with that carrier. Ok, E tool 101, it is Milspeak (military language) for entrenching tool. They can be extended all the way out to make a shovel, or the blade can be positioned 90 degrees to the handle making it into a short hoe...

Doug, that E-tool looks just like the ones made today, BUT, the carrier is definitely old, Korea to Vietnam. The new carriers are plastic. That canvas one having the lower end open might have been for the old wood handle E-tool.

What did you do with your tractor today?

Just got done giving my 214 electric lift a new rear axle seal and fresh paint, rebuilt the 46" deck and powerflo, and gave the deck a fresh paint job. Also doing the same to my 314 and it's mower deck, about 2/3-3/4 of the way done with it,
