The old girl is just showing her age Doug. You should have seen some of the JD's I've drugged home and worked on, some good, some I've thrown some money into.

    Trenching.

Do you have a rear blade? You could straddle the trench and pull dirt over into the trench.

The wheels being missing is kind of common, both of my CC500's are missing them, I don't think the CC600's come with them.

That's a Brinly CC 500 cultivator, the center shoe can be removed so you could straddle a row and cultivate on either side of it. They also had a wide "duck foot" shoe for that model. I have two like that one and one CC600 with spring tooth harrow tines.

What did you do with your tractor today?

Some info on the square fender 110's, 112's, 120's and 140's. The 110 came out with a 7.5 hp engine and went up to 10hp. You could get them with manual lift, electric lift, and hydraulic lift. The 112 started with 10hp and went up to 12hp, and like the 110, you could get them in manual...

What did you do with your tractor today?

The H1's without the front remotes were just for mowing, the one my uncle has was used as just a mower for a small school. Doug, the first number is the Type code, like Noel said, it gives the different options on your tractor. The second number is the serial number.

What did you do with your tractor today?

Not all H1's came with front hydraulic couplers, the knock outs are there, but not the lines and couplers. I added a set to my uncles tractor to operate a blade lift cylinder. Also, not all H3's came with rear hydraulic couplers, they were part of a kit so one could put the three point hitch on...

What did you do with your tractor today?

Doug, the 110 and 112 are gear drive, the 120 and 140 are hydrostatic, the one Noel has is equipped with three hydraulic levers. One goes to two ports on the left front, one goes to two ports on the right front, and the last to the middle rockshaft, hence the H3. My uncle has a 140 H1, which...

Changing the Husqvarna over from winter use to summer

Do you let the spindles cool down before you wash the deck? If you wash it while they are still hot they will draw moisture.

    And more junk.

Deere would label those blades as "high lift", mainly used with baggers, but also good for launching clippings (and anything else the blades pickup) at a high rate of speed if the bagger isn't equipped.

Just to try it I got the Husqvarna out this AM

Could also install the nut, then drill a hole through the bolt left sticking out and install a roll pin or cotter key.
