This is one of our trucks at work, the head gaskets went last fall. I am a ford guy myself, but I am not a 6.0 guy by any means. This job was not as difficult as I imagined, and for being my first time doing this, I’d say it went very well. Anyway, there isn’t much to say about it, here are some pictures!

I don’t think it counts a a full bulletproof, but I did use black diamond gaskets and ARP studs. It already had the egr replaced, but not deleted. I also put a coolant filter in it a couple years ago. When all is working, it’s a great truck! It rides smooth, quite, has tons of power; however, it seems like it has at least one good break down every year. My boss isn’t big on maintenance, which these engines seem to rely on heavily so maybe that should the cause.

Nice work on the Truck.
I own a 2006 Ford E450 6.0 Makes me nervous just to start it up.
It would of been better if Ford would have stood behind it and fixed it.
Not everyone has a shop and the means to repair it on there own. Local shops are at 5K to bullet proof it. Ouch if something goes wrong.
