6 - hour road trip

Marie an I took off for another road trip yesterday ... delivering this time instead of picking something up.

I sold my 1949 Agricat crawler and the guy offered to pay extra if I would deliver it for him.
Here's the crawler all loaded up and ready to go.




The new owner lives close to George Town, Ohio and I figured about 2-1/2 to 3 hours to get there from our place.
We dropped down into Kentucky and drove east past Cincinnati and then south east down to his place.
I pulled up in front of his barn and this is a view of his property behind us.
His house is hidden in that bunch of trees.




He and I did some chatting before for awhile before we got around to unloading the crawler.




Then I got on the the crawler for the last time and started it up.




I backed it down off the trailer and pulled it around to his barn.
It was a a very pleasant ride without any problems.

Weird....pics only show for a split second when I refresh the page, then disappear! Being a mod though, I hit "edit" and then they show till I back out. Nice crawler Ray, and I'd say you were a bit sad to leave it!

Very strange, but no biggie on the pics. I hit "F5" to refresh, see the pics for a split second only. Never had this happen anywhere before now.

Oh, didn't see they were linked from PB. Yes, I've had strange issues before ever since PB changed their policies and such.

Hey Ray, it looks like that blade telescoped out in front of the crawler. Am I seeing that right?

One side of the blade or the other can be extended out to angle the blade.
Or both sides can be extended out to move the blade farther out in front of the crawler.

Yeah that crawler and trailer are very cool----but he didn't show the truck he hauled them with! It's beyond cool!

I see that some of you are having problems with my photos ..
I post the same thing on more than one site at a time and I have found it is a lot easier for me to use Photo Bucket for my pictures and just copy the post onto the different sites.
Is that going to present a problem on this site ?

Ray, the pic of the blade extended shows for me just fine. Not sure why the opening post doesn't show me the pics. It's all good my friend....post pics how you want to. I have my ways of finding them if I have a problem. Maybe the first pic problem will be the only time. Don't fret over it.

Nope, I'm good.
I doubt it's an issue any longer. They load fine from here

OOps...no it didn't. The first post pics still disappeared a few seconds after. Not an issue for me anyway since I still have a way to view them. Weird though how the second pic of the blade loads and stays put fine.
