69 Camaro rare option

Its a V75 option that was available on 69 Camaro's a few others. Traction Compound and Dispenser. Never knew such a thing existed. Had to look it up.

IIRC the old time drag racers used bleach. Don't know if bleach will freeze or not.

I'd heard about it before but never knew what the "liquid" was. Heard it was a glycol type liquid like anti freeze and also heard it was a type of alcohol.

IIRC the old time drag racers used bleach. Don't know if bleach will freeze or not.

I didn't know either so i googled it. Looks like normal bleach will start to freeze in the 17-18F area.

Our promoter who did the prep work on our local 1/2 miles dirt track used a liquid traction compound mixed in with the final watering of the track. Used an old tanker semi trailer to water with. Decided to drain the tank on the highway on his 10 mile trip home one night. State Trooper did not like that idea one bit.
