Hi All,

I have a Briggs engine, 9P702 0279 F1 that I can't adjust the valves. Every you tube video I find all show the set screw for adjustment and mine has none. I can't tell if it's supposed to be this way or something is missing. I was given this engine and was told it had no compression (absolutely none) and I can't figure out why this engine has no set screws to adjust the valve clearance. I've taken it all apart and checked timing, found two leaky gaskets which I replaced and set the valves at .005 each without the set screws in place. I've check the parts pages and it doesn't seem there are these screws for this model. Head gasket has been replaced with no change. Anyone know what this might be? I appreciate any information. Thanks!

Should be an adjustment nut/ screw right in the very center of the rocker arm. Its what's holding it on...got to be there..
