Got this in a trading deal that went on for the weekend and involved 3 trips back and fourth.
Sure looks like a barn find, dont it ?
A little quick cleaning, then I took the cover and pad off the broken seat pan on the tractor and put it on an Allis pan that I had laying around and it looks a lot better.
Put a missing solenoid on it and it started right up.
The steering wheel was bent up too so I took a straight on off the shelf and put on it,you can see it in the last picture.
It needs fluid changes, greased and a serious pressure washing but it's in pretty good shape for its age.

Pretty cruddy to pretty nice.
Oh it's still very much cruddy. I just cleaned the sheet metal. Under the hood, under the tractor and the wheels are still very much cruddy. You could about scrap it off with a puddy knife. I need to get the pressure washer after it.

That's what Alice started life as. I have the rear end/BGB out back if you need something!

I do Kenny. I also got a 710 in that deal that's a good solid tractor but the rearend is bad. I think that might be a little expensive to ship though.:D

Yeah, it's heavy. It is a 6-speed and has the PTO clutch on the BGB.

Be careful about using pressure washer around BGB. View attachment 2505
It's good to see you and your familar screen name here. I have been watching and listening to you around other forums for a lot of years.
Why around the BGB ? Not that any get pressure washed often but I have been washing my Simplicity / A/C stuff since 93 and never hurt a BGB yet. :D;)
