Don’t know if it’s stock or not. Looks to have corvette wheels on it. I was not talking with the owner. Just stopped to take picture.

Yeah, Lily's Dad is correct if that is the original grill, '57.

Just visited with the manager of a NAPA store. He was looking at my 30 DeSoto and saying that the younger people today are looking for cars from the 60's and 70's like we looked for cars from the 30's and 40's. The generations that were interested in the old cars are getting too old or have died and the younger people don't have the desire to fix anything up. For the most part my grandsons are interested vehicles newer than 2000.

Ok Noel, you asked for it........Should've took a selfie & added one more "antique" lol. Sorry buddy couldn't resist, nice to see them finally getting out.
I want to see an antique, I look in a mirror or roll over in bed

I had a 78 ElDorado and a 75 Coronet.
I ended up having to change the engine in the 75 because I used slick 50 in it.
Lost half my power and wouldn’t stay running. Several oil changes later, it was the same.
Tried lots of things and finally gave up, found a Dart with a really snappy motor and transplanted it.

Wish I had them all back.

Slick 50 saved one of my engines. Ran out of oil. Blew the Oil filter off. All oil out. Went 2 miles. Happen to be a Honda dealership there where I stopped. My car was a chev celebrity. They took it in. Put an oil filter on and filled with oil. Took a long time before the lifters stopped ticking. The fella at another garage had change oil and filter a few days before. Put wrong filter on. This was at 140,000 k, car ran until 373,000. Engine was still good. 50 psi oil pressure after the new oil and filter installed. Rust stopped the car from being drivin. The 2 miles were hard ones to. Long story. Daughter had went to hospital. Only a month old. She’s 26 now.

I would say you look in the mirror to Jason. Hehe. And what vintage are you.

I was thinking about helping you get your MF across the bridge.
Not any more, hehe.

LOL Sorry Noel, can't let those easy ones slip by. I'm a 1977, hoping that's what the 1655 is across too lol , (haven't seen the tag yet) I have a buddy that has a dump trailer coming over for his roofing business so might be able to throw it in it, fingers crossed. How's the ground East, it's getting dry here already.

Hehe. Jason, you’ll be antique like me some day.
Hope fully you can get the tractor across soon. I think more ease up on the 28 of June. I thought I heard. Don’t know if that will do anything to open the bridge up any.
We got a real good soaking here with in the last few days. But it was very dry.
Just foolin with ya Jason. I got twenty years on ya, so you know antique is gunna happen to you,,,,, too.

That 75 Coronet would be identical to the 78 fury I have, except for yours would have been 2 round headlights and my 78 has 4 square ones. Everything behind the header panel is the same. Was yours 2 door or 4? Mine's a 2 door. Ran hot rod power tour in it back in 09 and 10. Which is now the last weekend in August instead of it's usual 1st full week of June. My son is trying to talk me into it again this year.
Currently looking for a set of period correct wheels to fit, looking for cragar, keystone or torq thrust. Tired of the plain black steel wheels and hubcaps. I need tires as the ones that are on it are dated 2003. I have had it since 2007, I'm the 2nd owner, it had 38k original miles on it when I got it, now has just over 53k. I have a set of higher compression heads to put on, plus a handful of aluminum intakes and 4 barrel carbs to decide between, all various Carter's. Never liked Holley carbs. Also thinking about a small slightly over stock cam at the same time. It's 318 is a slug off the line but loves the highway. Sweet spot is about 70.

A few more old cars I saw yesterday.
