A little Bling for the 316

Still haven't gotten around to painting the seat pan on this machine (not enough warm weather & I use it too much). But the foot rests are super slick with wet feet.


So I made some patterns of the areas where the indents are.


Going to cut some pieces to fit from this aluminum tread plate.


Hope to get them cut out soon. Got lots to do while the weather is nice out there.

Yep! Pop rivets. Only 2 right now, but 4 when I paint the pan. Got the others ready now.

Yeah! I've slipped a few times getting on and off! Since this tractor is used a lot all year, thought this would be the best fix for that.

That shifter plate caught my eye, that's slick! I almost envision a plate like that on a Lamborghini tractor....nicely done!

I put each piece where they go and marked mounting holes. I drilled 4 holes for each part (only using 2 for now). Clamped them in place and drilled through the pan. Put the pop rivets in and went to the next part. Here's what it looks like.
