hello everyone, haven't been on here much anymore. hope everyone is doing well, my life keeps getting busier. a while ago I got these extra parts off an old 854, it still had a tag number so I figured it still had a soul and I looked around at the parts I had then the project took off. now I think it's around 9 or 12 different tractor parts to get it back together. alot of time and cash is going into now. still can't decide what engine to put in it.
enjoy

If it really looks as nice as the pictures show, I would go with stock. Otherwise, anything you like.

You're doing an incredible job!
It's going to be worth a bundle when you're done.
Will you put a diesel in it?

not sure where I left off on this topic. I did pick up a beautiful k141 off a snowblower over the winter, finally got a round to painting it an installing it tonight. messing around with some threaded pipe. I really don't like stacks on little garden tractors, but this one is getting one. still have to run wires and build a little battery tray for the lights and volt meter. some more detailing, who knows what I will do with it?? it started off as challenge to piece it back together.

I never got into wheel horse but I'm really digging these medium size models

they are set up similar to your moto mowers

I really like the 1961 to 1964, round hoods. they have good stance and look. the post 65 square don't do much for me. wheelhorse was a nice change for me, I got tired of tracking and fabricating parts for some of the other stuff I have, wheelhorse is easy to track parts.

messed around a little bit today on this one, I have the stack figured out. it's a jim kemp stack, he makes nice stuff. I am adding a support brace. started running the wires for the lights and and volt gauge. tomorrow I will paint the tail lights and brackets, I can't find where I put the switch for the lights, guess I am going to napa. I put the damn thing where I wouldn't lose it and it figures!
