Last watermelon left yesterday evening. Couple tomato plants standing yet but not for long. About Oct 1st will get the two Big Moon pumpkins out. Then cclose off one narrow end and open the gate into the goat pasture. They will have a hay day for a while. Clean up the vines and fertilize at the same time.

Do you have any squash bug problems ? Reason I ask is we got hit hard in 2 different areas of the garden , about 60' apart . Lost all my squash/pumpkins

What kind of bug you think that's doing the damage ? Got a few pumpkins too but hadn't seen any problem..

Did not have any bug problems this year. Seen evidence of then a couple times and used Seven dust on them. Had a bumper squash crop and the Big Moon did very well, best ever. Might get them this week when it dries up. Just had 1" of rain and dries slow this time of year.
