picked up 3 tractors last weekend, all firsts for me; a MF 8hp repowered to 10hp, a cub cadet 107 and a AMF1400 which is an Amigo. finding info on the Amigo is difficult. i hope someone here can send me a pic that shows the motor mounting area. is it just a flat plate like some of the early ones had? there's been some hacking done to this machine and i'd like to return it to original if possible
 
well, maybe not better but certainly i have more than you do. any chance you could remove the bucket and send some more pics of the engine mounting area? mine has been cut, not quite squarely, at the base of the grill and a bit ahead of the steering column. a light angle frame was installed lower than the plate and it is knackered. i found a wisconsin T10D motor for it yesterday that is complete to the s/g and air cleaner and not stuck. where does the gas tank go?
 
I don't see a hi/lo lever on that Amigo. Did they make them without the hi/lo gearing?
