The fella that has the MF 16 for sale, that I’m thinking about buying also has a John Deere 175. Hydro. He mentioned about selling it sometime. Just a lawn tractor. But seems to be in good shape. So what’s the story on those, good, bad or ugly.

nothin special about them, they are not built as well as the earlier JD models but they are usually pretty quick sellers if your thinking of flipping it.... if in really good ready to run condition they can go for $750-$850 range around here.

Ya flipping it. Not some thing I normally do. This tractor is to new for me to know anything about, hehe. Thanks Lance.

alot of those late 100 series had issues with the paint falling off the metal seat pan/fenders in large sections, broken hoods are also fairly common... but overall they are decent lawn mowers to operate and parts are still readily available, they do need to be turn-key and look good to get top dollar tho so that usually means filters, belts, blades, battery... and seat.

No go on the John Deere 175 hydro. His rollin pin won’t let him sell it. Hehe.
That’s all right any way. I don’t need !!!!

Noel

The rolling pin is one smart cookie.

I use the old CompuServe or Prodigy term DW from that era.
DW = Darling wife or in an upset mode of tone, Darn Wife. LOL Just have to read the context it's used in.
DD = Darling Daughter
DS = Darling Son or it could be Daring Son too as in what stupid thing he did. LOL

Who knows how long these tractors parked here but i left town early so was only 10;30pm when I drove by the fleet so had to get out and snap some pics from my tractor homies
