Anyone else into Rumely Oil Pull tractors?

While Bolens are my favorite GT's for the Bigger tractors I have to say that Rumely oil pulls are my favorite bigger tractors.


A good friend of mine has several that I get to play with at shows , here's an example of the unique sound they make when running, the exhast pipe goes to the front of the radiator and pulls air up through the cooling fins in the radiator. unlike most machines the radiators are oil cooled instead of water/antifreeze

Doc., Being an avid A/C farm tractor fan, grew up running them on the farm. Rumley is the beginning of All is Chalmers tractors so I'm a big fan of the old Oil Pulls. They are great and very powerful tractors of their day.

They have a couple that make the rounds at our local shows.  Great machines.

The show in Pawnee, OK had a bunch of them a year ago. Cool machines!

We have quite a few up here.  I posted so pics of them plowing at Burnett Wi.  We did manage to wreck a nice JD 6 bottom lever plow when it hit a rock that did not move.  The 20-40 that was pulling it stopped dead for a second, spun the wheels a little bit, and than moved on.  The 6th bottom of the plow turned around backwards and the main beam was sprung to the side.


I was shooting Video and stopped just seconds before this happened.   :wallbanging:   If we only knew.
