Back to the bricks in Flint Mi was cancled some time back. Oh they had said they would have a drive thru drive in movie also a drive thru tune up parties. But those were also cancled after they gave thought to the crowds it could draw to see the old iron as they were driving thru.
How ever they have came up with another way to get old iron people together with road rallys. Early this summer they posted the rally leaveing from Davison Mi and doing a secret route. About 280 showed up.
Yesterday they had another one with over 300 car/trucks who showed up for a drive to Port Huron Mi. Port Huron on a normal year would have had their Main Street Memories show on Saturday. That show covered 7 city blocks last year.
Is one of our favorite shows but due to the screw uop last year we were going else where this year. We prereguster for the show took us two hours in line to get parked. No reason for that mess. set a seperate lane up for those of us who prereguster and let us get parked.
Any way for this rally the people had to sign a paper they were were not resposinable if yiou catch covid, had to stay in your ride or near by and had to wear a mask.
Also we figured out had to be a part of the clic to get an invite to attend.
