Bought a Panzer

I November of 2015, when we first moved down to Madison, Indiana, we had bought a Panzer garden tractor with the intention of fixing it up for my wife.
We had just started building the new house so the tractor was stored up in the loft of the garage.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to work on it before Marie died and after that I had other projects that had a higher priority.

In January of 2020, a friend wanted to buy the Panzer so I sold it to him. He asked me if he could leave it stored up in my garage for a few weeks until he could rearrange his garage to make room for it.

Sooo ... it is going into October, 2021 and that Panzer is still sitting up in my garage loft. I decided to offer to buy it back from the guy that I had sold it to for the same price that he had paid me for it.
He agreed to that and I now own this Panzer again.

Here is the engine and other parts for it. The tractor seems to be complete except for missing the right angle gearbox for the mower drive.

Very nice. I like the look and build of the Panzers. I had never heard of them until roaming my late uncle’s farm several years ago and came across a Pennsylvania in the blackberry briars. I could tell it had a car rear axle. After a little research, I knew I wanted it. Unfortunately my meth head cousin’s meth head girlfriend sold everything to a scrapper while he was in jail.

I think that style deck?? You don't need the gear box. I will have to check my panzer info. They are alot of fun. Both kids were driving them around 4 years old. We got a 60, 70 and 75 models

I figured that out. Going thru the parts, I found a idler pulley set that fits under the engine that allows the mower drive belt to turn and go back to the mower pulley.
