I’ve got a Briggs vanguard 16hp twin that I want to figure out how to turn up the rpms and also turn the idle down. From my view it looks like I’m looking into a women’s brain. I need your info

Lol don’t worry! I’m wanting to keep it under 3600 rpms. It’s only getting 2500 right now.

Is the engine throttled or a fix RPM engine if it only runs at 2500 and will not idle down it sound like a fix RPM engine if thats the case it will require a different governor linkage set up

Does anyone have some good information on the difference between commercial engines and “normal” ( If I’m saying that right) engines?
