Got a call from my cousin asking if I would be interested in my late uncle's Wheel Horse. It's an RJ-58 and has been in the family since new. Hasn't been out of the shed for a long time and the plywood he had down for a floor is pretty much gone.

We came up with a price and I brought her home this morning. She needs some lovin but I think she'll be ok. 20180811_114226.jpg20180811_114205.jpg20180811_114212.jpg20180811_114359.jpg20180811_114731.jpg

Well done Don some nice pieces came with it.
Are you sure it’ll be ok around those green ones when you turn the lights out?????
All kidding aside looks like a good acquisition and you kept it in the family. I’m sure you’ll have it driving around the yard very soon. Nice!!

Might clean it up a bit and take it along to the Dover show this weekend. I need an oil bath air cleaner for it but I may she if she'll fire up and run if I get time before the show. This was the first garden tractor I ever drove when I was 12. Used it to push dirt up against my uncles new house we were building.

Wow Don, what a great find. Looks to be in very good shape. If you ever decide to sell if, please let me know as I would love to have one with the front sickle bar.

Wish I could make it to the Dover show next weekend and see you and it. Sure miss that show and all the guys I had pleasure of meeting and getting to know up there.

Nice out fit. My dad bought used one in 1965 and i mowed with it. thought i was on top of the world no more push mowing. I have My uncles 1952 John Deere B nice to keep them in the family. I also have
a 1955 Garden- All Pup, 1963 Brillion, 1973 Case 220 Barn Find.
thanks Brillionman

Very nice. I wish we had some cool family owned equipment. None of my family could afford to buy nice stuff. Best my grandfather had was a 1990s john deere stx38(I think that was the number) it was nice but not collectable. My other grandfather had a murray and a junk craftsman.

Although I wish I had my grandfathers seats lt10 just because I think it's a cool looking design...

Great deal Don, awesome to get one from family with the memories. You might need to put some restraints on Lil Red overnight. He might spend all night slapping Big Green into submission. If any of them don't want to start this week, you know what happened.

That's funny, same here all my family had were rotary push mowers. That was the extent of a tractor I seen growing up.

That's a nice package deal for sure especially part of your family. It looks well cared for. I always wondered why the horses have the engine set so far back leaving the empty area in front. Congrats!

that's a great find with all the attachments and paperwork, is the tractor still in original paint?
