they wanted $200 and talked him down to $150 so i'll go buy it tomorrow , it's the same as the small tractor i use that i put the Bolens diff in ,

this one is still pretty much original condition including the motor and 3 sp peerless g/box , the engine will be either 8 or 10 HP briggs & stratton .

this sort does have a skid front load slasher and front push blade and also a self powered tiller or rotary hoe , but cant find any of these attachments local

UPDATE (1)
bought it this morning and fetched it back not bad condition for the age , 2 tyres pumped up , 1 went flat and the tube went back inside the tire on the rear wheel IMG_20180917_135442.jpgIMG_20180917_135549.jpgIMG_20180917_135607.jpgIMG_20180917_135624.jpg

IMG_20180917_135654.jpgIMG_20180917_135715.jpg the hood and rear seat cover panel is good with minimal dents ect , the hood an seat panel have been repainted at some point and the seat covering is gone completely + cutter belt is broken

the engine has been replaced with a 12 HP vertical Briggs and Stratton 1980's era with electric start , will check the cowling numbers to make sure what it is ,

in the crate is 2 gearboxes , 1 is a 3 sp H pattern and the other is inline 5 sp , both peerless g/boxes , the 5 sp boxes come out of Bolens 2025 rear engine rider mowers here in Aussie, i won't be fiddling with it for a bit though as i have other more pressing things to fix 1st

UPDATE (2)
thursday i had a little time to myself so i put some time into the Tractor 1st checked the oil and topped it up then filled with fuel , had charged the battery up the day before and fixed replaced the terminal bolts

,i cranked it over a few times did not fire so i switched the kill switch to the opposite position and 3 winds it started easy so i got a good 12 HP engine in it ,
the spindle bearings were dead in the cutter deck so replaced the deck with my old one from the other Rover 2 i use regularly , changed the belt too, then took it for it's maiden ride and was pretty happy with it , except the drive clutch belt was slipping , not set right .IMG_20181011_124048.jpg IMG_20181011_124103.jpg

on thursday night i pulled the 3 SP g/box out and belt and replaced them with the bolens inline peerless 5 SP g/box , i want the 3 sp box for the one i am too restore back to original look as the g/box works fine , i also cut the daggy tow hitch off it , darned shin cracker it was

As it stands it is usable but still needs a seat cover and tyre replacing as it's a different size on the front

Own 4 of them but only 2 are complete. On this one previous owner welded the cradle shut on the front end and its 1.5in out of level and that threw the cutter out. Shaves the dirt on the left side. Now I have to introduce the grinder to free it up and to let the front end set even. Then it should mow good i hope

update
i now own 6 of them , just bought 2 more today $80 non complete but in reasonable condition , 1 is missing a engine and the other engine is dead busted conrod most likely , lol stops sudden on the spin and no compression force , photos to come

update
here are a couple of photos of the 2 i bought
IMG_20181026_171627.jpg IMG_20181026_171722.jpgIMG_20181026_171603.jpg this 1 got no engine and 2 tyres are flat-ish and a 5 sp g/box
IMG_20181026_171646.jpgIMG_20181026_171656.jpg this 1 has the blown engine in but has got the starter and charge ring ect on it and is only the 3 sp g/box and a weird seat looks like a bulldozer seat to me custom fitted

here is a photo of the drive setup in them IMG_20181026_171851.jpg IMG_20181026_171944.jpg belt missing from the middle flat pulley to the engine , 3 pulleys on 1 shaft , top is g/box , middle is engine and the bottom is cutter deck pulley drive , i'm finding it a tad hard to explain
