Bypassing Fuel Shut Off Solenoid

I think this is a better way instead of just cutting the tip off.

Needed :
5/16-24 Bolt and Nut
o ring for the bolt
1/2 Wrench

First you are going to take the fuel shut off solenoid off using a 1/2 wrench
Second you are going to take a 5/16-24 fine thread bolt but the nut on and tighten it down
Third you are going to put the bolt in the vise and cut the bolt and then grind flush with the nut. This protects the threads when cutting finish product you want the bolt to be around 3/8 long.
Forth install with o ring back on carb and install unit back on machine.

I doubt the Kawasucki I pulled the carb off of to boil out would be SAE fine thread

no that probably metric but same method would work just metric bolt

I save all the fuel bowl bolts off junk carbs without solenoids just for this purpose.
