Have a John Deere JA65 power drive 21" mower that will not stray running. Removed the carb, soaked it with carb cleaner and set it sit for a while. Sprayed it some more and blew it out good. Did not help one bit. Started looking for a replacement carb. They must make a different carb for every application they put that motor on. Never did find on just like the one on this mower. Either the port for the primer bulb was not there or in the wrong place, fuel inlet was turned up at a 90° angle. Seemed that there was always something that made it enough different that it would not work. Even those listed for the JA65 were different with the same part number. Going to pull this one again and run it through the ultra-sonic cleaner a time or two and see if that helps. OEM at a dealer is $158. Not today or ever.
