Case 107

Barely a tractor I suppose, I picked up this nice looking little Case 107 today. They were made from 1969-1972. The original engine was a 7HP Tecumseh vertical shaft. Mine appears to have had an engine swap at some point as there are two sets of holes in the engine plate. I'm going to try to clean it up and save the original paint for now.

Well that’s neat. Kinda looks like a New Holland or Airens front engine bonnet.

I spent some time working on the Case. The engine I put on is newer than the tractor and has electronic ignition. Even with a coil that checks good with my ohm meter, correct gaps, and clean mounting points, I get no spark. I ordered, and got a new coil so I hope that will fix the problem.
As soon as the rain stops and I recover from COVID I plan to try it.

I installed an 8HP Tecumseh from a Snapper rear engine rider. After replacing the coil and carb it now runs. I still need to figure out a belt for it, (I don't have the original).

That looks like a pretty heavy built LT!

Do you have a deck and stuff for it?
