I got a tip about this 220 across the IL. line. So I sent a message and set up a time to go get it.
It was in a barn,on a concrete floor but half the roof was gone.
It had been there a long time.
It turned out to be a 1969 first year for the 2 and 400 series PK model. Really kind of a crossover model between the earlier 100 series and the later 200 series.
They had bought this tractor new so as rough as this Performance King is it is or was until Sunday a one owner machine.
The original engine has been replaced and the hood and grill couldn't be found. We looked all thru the barns and all around the barns.
The steering is froze up,as is the lift and the deck.
I snagged the wheel weights off of it ( Cub weights ) and have it offered up for sale to a good Case home. Hopefully someone that appreciates finding a 69 220 PK. A fairly rare find.
The daughter was running things, selling and cleaning out her dads barns (he is still living ). They was a lot of cool items there, gas pumps,a flathead 4 cylinder power plant ( that I got outbid on ),a Wisconsin stationary AB engine ( I bought ),a very old minibike that I missed out on and lots more.
