I am sure I mentioned the history of this on in other posts, it was my wife's grandfathers we have it now. I didn't want the get into a full tear down, I really just wanted to do a full patina resto but the sheet metal was to rough, so this took 2 weeks a quick fresh up, pulled the tins, soaked in vinegar back to to bare metal, repainted, new fronts tires, painted the rims, made a quick seat pad, new decals, fixed a few wire issues and here it is. @J beal

soaked in vinegar back to to bare metal

Regular vinegar? How long?
Yeah I have been this for awhile now, I got a plastic tote filled with cheap white vinegar. I wash and degrease the parts first, stick them in for a day or 2, pull them out hit them with a wire brush and let them soak for another few days, depending on your parts it will remove 80 to 100 % of the paint, all rust is gone. I don't use this way on cast parts.
