My grandad said just use a tree top to cover your seeds. Specifically mentioned a sweet gum. Has anyone did this before? And what were your results? Leaves are starting to shrivle here in TN and good luck with me finding a sweet gum!
Use an old bed spring angle iron side up. Lot of landscapers use those up this way. Probably easier to find than a Sweet Gun tree. Send the Mrs. shopping and borrow hers quick?
