A garden tractor was there. An Allis Chalmers garden tractor. Don’t know the model. Was looking at a you tube video and there it was driving around. Has chains on the rear.

I was a 6 yr old kid that summer. We were in a nearby town of Phoenicia, NY.... dad was doing some work with IBM at their Kingston, NY mainframe plant. I was too young to be cognizant of why there were a bunch of long-haired, rowdy, smelly people invading the place we were staying (Lazy Meadows, on the Esopus Creek), but I sure DO remember them being there!

Yes there are people who remember bing there. We several. on the day time talk shows Kare watches who told their stories.

I was in Canada fishing at that time 1969 near Chapeau Ont.

I was 2 years old and besides my dad being into elevator music and my mom being the old fashioned "why do we need to be there with such a crowd" there would be no way.

Though today, the rock and roll from that time period remains what I'd rather listen to even today / certainly vs. anything that has come out in the last 30 years

I was 17. Never heard of it until the movie came out later. Guess I was a square. I do remember exactly what I was doing the night of the moon landing though.

I do remember seeing stuff on the news about it, and at the age of 12, having seen a few 60's rock bands live, I thought it would have been kind of cool to be there. Don't know how many people actually could have seen the bands in that gigantic mob though!

I was still much more fascinated with the lunar landing too Poncho! I was probably building a model of the LEM at the time of Woodstock!

Its Chapleau,,entrance to the short cut down to Sudbury on the old EB Eddy road.
I was 10 so Woodstock did not happen in my life until the album came out although a few years later I was going to concerts every weekend. Saw many bands just starting out as opening acts such as Bob Seeger, Slade, Nazareth, ZZTop and all playing small 1500 seat halls. Rockin' Ronnie Hawkins bought the old city hall, turned it into a pub in London On where I lived and brought in talented up and coming bands.
So many of those talented musicians died early and are still dropping off, liver disease is often the common denominator.
