from across the street. husq YT21k46 with bad engine. Kohler Courage. looking for replacement engine would rather it not be another Courage. Anyone know of an alternate that will fit within the plastic confines of this hood? without modifying hood? existing engine is 21hp single. leaning towards V twin if I can find one.
 
A B&S V twin 21 hp or a 22 hp Kohler twin V both should bolt in some rewiring will be needed but nothing major biggest thing is different connectors
 
Rewire is the least thing I'm worried about, more so physical space that one would take up vs the other, I don't want to have to go hogging anything out to make room for something else. Not up on that sort of thing on what to me are "newer" machines.
