I couldn't get the Farmall A to fire up yesterday. I pulled the plugs and cleaned them up in the bead blaster and installed them this morning. I still had a heck of a time getting it running, but after cranking(hand crank) for 15-20 minutes it finally chugged to life. It kept wanting to flood from a leaky needle and seat so I brought it home and pulled the carb. Found lots of green goober and rust so I pulled it down, bead blasted, and reassembled it. It started on the second crank after I installed it. I got to thinking when I last opened up the carb and it s been 14-15 years ago.
