Since i have soooo many Stones to remove i did the retainer wall/levie bank above the garden to stop water wash off the hill if it ever rains , full length post to post the wall is 12" high minimum and 12" to 18" wide
IMG_20190829_150457.jpg but now i got the idea to fill the top side with the mulched grass and dirt that came out of the garden as i cleaned it up at 1st

this is 1/2 length done IMG_20190829_150359.jpg IMG_20190829_150222.jpg to the little walk gate ,I'm thinking a good garlic bed next as they don't need lots of water and by then the bed will be broken down into proper soil then ,the bed is about 2' wide x 18"+ high

this was the 1 pile of mulch now used for the fill >IMG_20190703_162133.jpg 3' high x 6' forward

still got this pile to use yet > IMG_20190717_172620.jpg IMG_20190717_172602.jpg BUT STONES i'm sick of STONES but nearly finished with them

little update or 2 of tidying up around the garden patch fence and old water trough ,IMG_20190829_150622.jpg some of the

mess around the trough and entrance and after IMG_20191010_082049.jpg and the old trough is now 2/3's full with dirt from the
dam and
IMG_20190930_093624.jpg mulched hay for a herb garden when i finish filling it and covering it with trampoline safety cloth which will keep birds and such out but let plenty of sun in on the plants
these are the bed bases i 1st had as fence to keep out animals on the bottom fence side IMG_20190930_093607.jpg and then i

replaced with chain wire to tidy it up some IMG_20191010_082055.jpg now clean and presentable now from the road , i did leave the barbed wire there to help support the chain wire. IMG_20190920_172541.jpg a better pic of the old panels of fence

little update

water trough garden is getting nearer to completion , i used the safety netting from around trampolines to cover the garden with , it is good as it lets the sun through easily but keeps most of the bad bugs out , i hope , i have to fit a door on and finish covering the bottom 1' around it yet but not sure what i'm using yet to do that and also put a few more stones in the bottom to walk on
IMG_20191024_162625.jpg have to finish filling it with manure and dirt too , i already have some herbs to transplant in , mint , basil , thyme , parsley, and not sure what else to plant
