Going through storage cleaning, and sorting, to work toward some sort of GT inventory reduction.
I got lucky on that part. Went to look at this tractor one day and picked it up the next day. Owner wasn't there but he'd given the reverse pulley set up to his son and told him to make sure he gave it to me. Good thing cause I had no idea what I was getting. Sometimes you just stumble onto things and come out on the good side. In all honesty I went to look at this tractor because it had the same front tires that I needed for my Midland tractor. Ya just never know!hopefully you have the drive pulleys and reverse setup, I would say you would have to fab the hood, the lettering is all embossed, but you could decal it. if you ever need photos or measuments let me know, I only know of around a dozen of these. I am sure there are more out there.
I'll keep you in mind. So far the Midland is in the "keeper" section. I saw another one for sale up in Wisconsin several years back. Still kicking myself for not pursuing that purchase!!! Someone out in Iowa had one. Been a while, but if my memory serves me correctly, they had the mower deck too. (Which is a front mount) and driven by a twisted v-belt set-up.Hey Bill, let me know if you ever decide to sell the Midland/Wards garden tractor. I missed out on one a few years back and haven't seen one for sale since.
Thanks for the photos. I think I have all the drive components...hope so! Been so long since I've been able to work on, or even look at anything, that I can't remember what I have and don't have!!had these on the phone still
