The MTD 990 and the Simplicity 7117H with yard carts did some garden duty. One hauled the beets from the garden and the other hauled the debris to the compost bins and burn pile.

The Cub Cadet LT1050 and Hoopdy cut 3 acres of grass. The Cub does the hilly areas and Hoopdy does the more level areas but gets around real good considering 4 mismatched tires.

I got the Simplicity 3415H and the Sears SS15 out just to take a ride to keep them from getting jealous. I still have to get a belt for the Simplicity deck.

Great pictures Jim...
What makes them even more enjoyable is when you go out and they all start...

Bunch of beets there...you can them ,freeze....?
Bill these are my reliables I can go out and these will start anytime of the year. I never drain the gas I just start putting Seafoam in the gas late in the year like about now. Carol cans all the beets some are pickled and some are just plain.

Jim is sending those beets to me.

I had two tractors not start today. One has not run since potato planting. Other one has a so so battery and had been starting good the last three or four grass cuttings. It winds over good but only for about 10 seconds then slowly dies. Today engine didn’t start quick like it normally does and battery died. I don’t think I had the choke on all the way. Any way, son has a booster pack battery thing and both started right up then. I need about $1500.00 to put batteries in all the tractors. Hehe. That’s not gunna happen.

Nice tractors Jim.

I didn't get into my garden as I should have this year no beets planted interesting to see other members are into eating beets both of us eat them, any one eat the tops we have and there a lot like spinach
We both love most greens but for some reason neither of us liked the beet tops. I think they were too far along. I wanted to plant turnips this year but never. My Dad use to mix turnips, mustard, and spinach together just for the greens. He would pile it up high in the plate then pour hot bacon grease over it. It was so good.
