Went over to IN yesterday and got a couple AC/Simplicity grader blades. One is an early model and the other is for later, but not much later, models. Not sure the hitch is right for the older one.

Often wanted to make one. Got the one below to start with just never found the time. Was originally a Brinly back blade of some sort...

Are those the belly blades. Got one with my tractor. it is a real balancing act to get enough down pressure on the blade to cut effectively with out removing weight from the rear wheels and loosing traction. Sure beats a shovel and rake though. Wheel weights and loaded tires will make all the difference.

I thought the simplicity OEM blades had foot rests?

Nice find. Would like to find one for a sears at a non marriage jeopardizing price point .

I have one for my Suburban it works pretty good have stood on the blade for some down pressure built one for the PK's and its much heavier but there are times I've used my foot to add some down pressure
