Grass Not Getting Mowed

Walked through it with the dog this morning and it is all still nice and green. Few places a little long but until we get some decent rain it is not getting mowed. Shaded areas need mowing but the Mrs can take care of those with her outfit. Riased the decks up a bit the last 2 times we mowed to keep it green. Seen several lawns that are brown just because the cut it to darn short this time of year. Nothing wrong with a green lawn that is 4" long in July and August.

Cut it Sunday and finished before the storms. Still doing every 5-7 days. Need to stay ahead of it with doing the neighbors two yards I don’t want to fall behind. I’ve been cutting theirs a little shorter than normal which helps. Grass had really slowed down but that storm on Sunday and rain expected tomorrow may kick it back in high gear again. There goes the cave time again.

Momma thinks mowing needs to be done weekly. So in front of the house that is how it is done. Behind the house I have been doing it biweekly and it is definitely greener back there.

It's not growing very fast here! I mow about 2.5" high. Helps it stay greener.

Mrs. mowed the front today to cut off the multitude of Trumpet vines shooting up. Back in one area could use it but the opther 2+ hours is not going to get it. Deck is back together and ready to go on but want to put the front radial bearings in first. Should be here in the next day or two.
