Had to get ready for winter sooner than I thought

Well Mn decided its winter time 8-10" of nice wet snow so it was time to get the 1620 ready for winter duties, installed a set of W12's and they sure are pretty hopefully in about a week to 10 days it will just sit at the ready for a month or more

I still have leaves in some trees....Last year, snow stopped my yard cleanup.

We have had two killing frosts and have snow covered leaves on some of the trees. Temp to be back up in the 50's later this week so will see what happens. Fireplace sure felt good yesterday.

It's definitely fall here, leaves are gone and there's about 3" of frozen dirt in the garden, but what snow we've had has evaporated off. I never take the big snow blower off the J.D. 4040 so I'm ready to roll when the time comes.

East of KC and it's still snowing lightly. Probably over 50% of the leaves left on the trees and they're falling as they get heavier with snow!

Hi Noel I really like it mower my larger areas with it in the summer have a 60" deck and use it for plowing in the winter its a hydro and has power steering and a 3 pt hitch

That's a great tractor Gary! How does the angle lock on the blade work? I see the notches in the pivot and the rod you push and pull.

I thought someone was buying out your current land. A stipulation should be that you have to move way north when you leave there into the heaviest of the snow belt... Just so you can see what some of us deal with part of the year (too much of it, if you ask me)
