Have this idea for a new project

I've been dreaming about building a track tractor using an old hydro GT and some snowmobile tracks, that what the plan is for the first Ariens I disassembled. Not sure if this will plan out but going to give it a go, will work on this next week maybe before stripping the other Ariens. Here's some pictures for ideas

Hi Doug yes I'm going to install a couple of levers attached to the brake rods for steering, I'm trying to figure out or find some wheels and axles for the front idlers

I knew he was up to something. And I was wondering what the winter project was going to be. I’d like to have a small bulldozer or tracked something. Don’t what I’d use it for, just want one.

Don't have all the pieces, especially for the rod and block. Still runs on the one cylinder!

Clamp a weight were the broken rod was, patch some tin over the hole and see how long it will run.

I didn't think that model had been on the market long enough yet to hear of that sort of problems with them yet
