Im posting these pics because i wanted to show how ate up my seat is. Sure i could do the black tape thing, but some of the padding is ate up too. So im on the hunt for a different seat. Its a real eyesore to me, & makes the whole tractor look like a POS. What are my options? Would love to find a NOS seat, but thats probably slim to non existant. What are you guys using as replacements? Did New Holland have an non branded black seat? Anyone have a really nice original theyd part with? Lemme hear your thoughts. While im on the topic of wanted items... one of the rear lights lenses is missing & the other light doesnt work. Can the originals still be purchased? Id also like a new gas cap/gauge, this apparently got broke because now it has silicone all over the top if it sealing the water out, which is fine, but id rather replace it. Can they be purchased still? Reproduced? This tractor is really nice, & IMO worth putting a little $ into it, to make things correct/work again. I'd really like to locate a snowblower attachment for it as well. Im located in the Syracuse N.Y. area, so finding a snowblower in my area would be great, the other stuff could be mailed easilly enough. Im new to this brand of tractor, is there anyone helping with parts support for these thru here? Thanks for any & all help anyone can offer.

I like this seat alot.

High back

I put it on a cub. Super comfortable.

I had a gt17 that was a basket case. It was a nice machine after some work. People I sold it to are still using it.

Its nice hearing positive feedback on a product before you purchase it & end up hating it once youve already invested your money. Thanks alot for your input.[/QUOTE]

I think a comfy generic seat until you can find an original. On the rear lights, I used a small marker light. Grote I think was the brand. The lens fit right on the original base. Only difference was the original didn't have the name on the lens like the replacement did.

And on that front shaft that we talked about with the pump welded on. I pulled one out of a parts tractor last week and it went fairly easy after I remembered how to do it.
