Hi guys I acquired a cadet 80 that I am trying to get to run. It had no spark so I assumed that I needed a coil so I ordered a coil and installed it the same way the old one was and still have no spark. I'm not sure that the old one was wired in correctly. They had the 2 short wires placed at the top of the coil and the long one that was wrapped onto it wired to a bracket which has another eyelid connector that runs to ignition switch. Can anyone tell me where i am supposed to take the 2 wires on the new coil to?
