Issue is a Mitsubishi S3L injector pump on a CC 7260 has low/no volume on #3 cylinder injector. The search results for new injector pumps list at $700+ and up. I would really like to fix this issue for a reasonable cost not 1/5 to a 1/4 of what the tractor might sell for. So I am looking for a source of parts to rebuild the internals on this injector. I have Mitsubishi part #s but can get results from such a search. Anyone know a supplier I could contact for internal parts?
I'll tear it down before I spend big bucks on a new one. Could likely be dirt/gunk on the plunger seat. And I would learn more a long the way, always good.
Also many of the 3 cylinder injectors look very, very much like the S3L's one. Anyone try using one not listed? Might have to shim for correct volume delivery. The S3L is a 1125 cc engine. I like the design of these pumps verse to rotary injectors as you can mess with them but not have to retime the engine.
