I found this in December 2018 and went and got it today.IMG_20211025_172650082_HDR.jpg It is serial # 149 of 500 produced.

The only really rough part is the deck, which has been replaced with a Simplicity. The deck should be white.IMG_20211025_173149180.jpg The frames on these are usually rusty. This one has surface rust but no damage.

Simplicity equal (+/-)
is a 7013s. I haven't found an Allis Chalmers. It is about the size of my Allis Chalmers 410. The 410s were made only in 1973. My 410 doesn't have the shuttle drive system. The 410s were Kohler powered.
 
Yeah, the JC Penney has shuttle shift and it works great.
Over the years I have bought, and had some Simplicity built machines given to me, because people couldn't get the belt adjustment figured out. I like the shuttle shift system.
I plan to pick up a tube for the rear tire today. The oil is black as tar so I'll change it as soon as I crank it again and warm the oil. Then I can ride some more.
