JD 140H3 fixed up the driveway ice.

Been above freezing a little here the last two days, which means my driveway snow base will turn to ice this evening into tomorrow. So to help all of us from not falling, I take out the JD and use the rear blade with teeth on it to ruffle up the snow and ice so when it freezes it won’t be as slick. Works good.

What have you got for teeth under there?

Inch long 1/2” diameter cold rolled rod. Spaced about 1/2”. Used it to do some lawn landscaping. The rods are welded to a plate. The plate is bolted to the blade. So I can remove the plate and just have the smooth cutting edge. If I want.

Not a terrible idea. I've bounced off the ground twice so far this year, I imagine it's a bit worse when your not under 30 lol.
