I just picked this up last weekend and first thing I did with it was to remove the skins and take it to the carwash to wash off the mouse pee. Worst smelling tractor I have ever had in the shop! I am on the fence as to whether to rebuild this or to try to fit the diesel into a Farm King 990 and have it still retain all of its sheet metal. The 430 has a bad hood, missing front side skins, and no front grill. When I got it I was told It also has a water pump leak. I think I have to pull the motor out to change the pump. Anyone out there have much experience with one of these tractors?

I have one of it's step-sibs, a 420. Not sure on all the features a Farm King 990 has, but with a 430 you have power steering, two speed rear with diff lock, three spool hydraulics (2 sets of front ports and rockshaft) and the ability to put a three point hitch on it. When they are fixed up and running good they are a brute of a tractor.
