Tires too perfectly aligned for that I'd say. On the right rears I can see the cadium plated bolts that hold them together. Fronts have a yellow tube that aligns and connects them. Still, a lot of trouble and expense for no good reason.Almost looks like they just set another set of tires next to the tractor and took a picture.
Especially during wet conditions. The reason they have tracks on the big tractors and combines.hard to say from the pics if those tires are actually mounted to the tractor but the sad fact is that many people do add duals and somehow believe it will result in more traction... when in reality it reduces traction because you now have less weight per square inch of tire that contacts the ground... the sole purpose of having duals on a full size farm tractors is to reduce soil compaction but garden tractors do not have enough weight for that to even be a concern
Are those garden tractors, Lance? I have seen gigantic Ag tractors with duals all the way around.Steiner and Ventrac both sold articulated mower/tractors with duals on both ends.... I would guess they would be more stable on hills as long as it doesnt rain.
