Boy they don’t make them like they used to. I like the engine overall, it runs great and lots of power, makes cool V-twin type noise. But of course there is this small flaw, they must have used some terrible glue on the flywheel magnets. I bought this tractor in November, it’s about a 2003-2004 model. Lucky me I get to fix this mess.
Tractor is my Ingersoll 7020. Engine is a Kohler Command CH20.

Been there, done that! You'll have top buy another flywheel as the magnets are not for sale separate! I happened to have an extra K 341 flywheel that I stole the magnets from. Same stator also!

I ordered a new flywheel and stator earlier today. ~$400 repair.

Kenny how on earth did you get the magnets off the K341 flywheel without destroying them?

Heated the flywheel and they popped loose with just a small amount of help. That's why they come loose. engine overheats and that cheap doublestick tape doesn't hold up! JBWeld is doing fine!
