Having fun this week puting my tractor to work Very able wee tractor picture taken at the beginning and at the end Good result Wee rose called blue moon in my garden Keep well

Pardon me for my ignorance but are you Scottish. What is the meaning of your user name. I’ll take a guess that Fife has something to do with a flute plowman. I love your posts. I haven’t seen you on in awhile.
 
Beautiful rose! Do you just put sod over the gravel?
We put 50 mm of half sand and soil it is called 50-50 then we lay the turf. Below the gravel is solid clay as deep as you can dig If you do not prepare it properly you are wasting your time laying turf the clay cracks when it is very dry and when it is very wet it rots the turf

Hi Jim Fife is an area in Scotland north of Edinburgh 30 miles to be exact I was born and bred A very good frend alway phoned me and said is that the Fife plooman I am speaking to ,it just stuck He was a Borders farmer.Keep well
