Looking for a part number

Hello all,

In my restoration of my SS12, I noticed I'm missing an oil seal for the rear hub(PN:8778H), my parts manual doesn't show one. This is the seal in the hub itself, not the transaxle. Anybody have a part number?

Didn't you just post the part # above? Plus I haven't seen a parts list of an oil seal out there, usually further in the housing.

That's the hub #, there are 2 types of hubs, splined and keyed, mine is the keyed.

I'm kind of wondering if the guy I bought it from added those and packed them with grease to keep them from rusting solid to the shaft.
