Had my Winterwood dropped off yesterday and couple big ones rolled down not sacrificing my back anymore lol. I made this up quite a while ago as a small lift pole and the grapple. 14”log 8 foot-long maple lifted it no problem even being that far out. Only picks it up about a foot off the ground but it was made more for skidding than stacking lol.

oh by the way Noel, it’s already for you to block up lol. Maybe a little bit of splitting to do to lol.

You must have some kind of front weight on the tractor Jason? Weight box or something else? I've been trying to think of how to add weight to the front of the MF1450 and still be able to open the hood while it's mounted. I'm planning on some sort of boom pole on the rear also.

Yeah anything below 9”10” I don’t split. I hate burning small wood

I burn wood in a built in fireplace. Bigger pieces, knots, etc.. are OK on top of a good bed of coals. Need the smaller split stuff to keep the fire going a little at a time. Don't usually need a lot of heat heat. 3" down I don't split but everything bigger gets downsized. Mrs likes the smaller ones a lot better. Our wood is all hard wood, Oak, Ash, Hickory and it is heavy .

Let’s just say she was easy to steer Doug no weight on front. If I ever get the loader built I’ll need the weight on the back instead. I have a wood boiler in the house 6 to 8 inches perfect size anything bigger I usually split once.

Kinda like power steering except for the part where the wheels turn but the tractor doesn't---LOL! They must have some pretty good front weight as it is. That log looks to be heavier than the tractor! That's a cool attachment, Jason!

Don’t let him fool you Doug. You notice he doesn't show the front of the tractor in the picture. Who knows what he’s got on there to hold the front down, just to make it look good. Hehe.
