I am working on my MF 285. Second time water pump has went out. The place I bought previous pump from came with a new pulley on it. That was 3 yrs ago. I cant find those anymore. So off the old one comes! The last time I tried removing the older one because I was going to try and save a $100 bucks. But the puller broke the ridges on the pulley. I used a 3 jaw type puller. Does anyone have any suggestions on what type of puller to use or any other helpful tip?s Because I cant even find just a pulley. And I don't want to know what the cost would be to fabricate a new one.
